Dune 'Bonaire' Rosé 2020
Three grape varieties that are rarely seen in New Zealand, Carignan, Shiraz and Sangiovese is the DNA makeup of this morishly textured wine. Tasty cherry and orange blossom flavours open the sensors with a bone dry refreshing finish.
Dune is a project from brothers Duncan and Peter Lloyd using fruit sourced from a vineyard in the McLaren Vale, Australia. Their approach to winemaking has all the buzz words of a minimal intervention producer, words like organically farmed, no fining, minimal sulphur. But they are very adamant that they are intervening. They set out with a style of wine in their mind and make the wine according to that style based on the individual qualities of the vineyard and vintage.
In conversion to organics, vegan, minimal added sulphur, unfined
