Bedin II Lieve Frizzante Col Fondo
This is essentially Prosecco that went out and got a tattoo and piercings. It’s super light, dry and refreshing but is made ‘col fondo’, finishing fermentation in-bottle much like a Pet Nat. As a result it’s a touch cloudy. Made with the Prosecco (Glera) grape this is Frizzante (lightly sparkling) in style.
And you can forego the Mimosas at brunch, this is only 10.5% alcohol.
Bedin are based in Asolo, one of only two DOCG in the Prosecco region. As well as producing excellent, conventional Prosecco, they also look outside of the square using methods other than the commonly used Chamat method for production.
