The Overaged Malt is a blended whisky made up of malts matured in sherry casks for any between 12 to 27 years old. The result is a classic sherried whisky, with whiff's of peat smoke and honey, followed by bags of dried fruit and subtle chocolate flavours.

Michel Couvreur combines traditional Scottish whisky-making techniques with a unique French touch. They carefully select only the finest Scottish single malts and distills before maturing them in ancient underground cellars in Burgundy, France. This is where the cool and humid conditions impart a distinct character to the whisky's. Various casks for maturation and finishing are used, including sherry casks, port casks, and even unique wine casks sourced from renowned vineyards in Burgundy.
