Iliana Malihin Rosé 2022

$52.00

This is Rosé that isn't shy. It's bright and red fruited with raspberry, strawberry, cherry, watermelon and peppery flavours. It has weight with a little grip and firm finish. It's made from the native Crete variety Liatiko, and 40 to 50 year old, ungrafted, unirrigated vines. Aged in seasoned oak for 8 months the wine was bottled without filtration or fining.

Iliana Malahin is one of the bright stars of Greece’s very exciting modern wine industry. Having studied agronomy and oenology, she turned her focus to reviving native varieties and old vineyards around the village of Malampes, in the mountainous south of Crete.
