Stonecroft Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

$43.00

This is a great display of the classic, timeless appeal of Cabernet Sauvignon. Fruit is pure and abundant, dark berries and plum, with woody spices and violets. It’s got the variety’s typically long, taut palate with fine but firm tannin. We love that it’s stern but unforced. Organically grown, old vine, Gimblett Gravels fruit is hand picked. The wine is aged in French oak for 18 months.

This estate was established in 1982 by Dr Alan and Glennice Limmer. The Limmers were pioneers of winegrowing on the Gimblett Gravels and of Syrah production in Hawkes Bay. Now in the caring hands of Dermot McCollum and Andria Monin, Stonecroft’s wines are harmonious, expressive, organically certified and tremendous value for money.
