Domaine Testut Chablis Vieilles Vignes 2021

$78.00

Village Chablis that punches above its weight, this comes from vines with an average age of 50 years old. You’ll get the classic mineral freshness you expect, but there’s a little more palate weight and generosity of flavour than the usual suspects. This 9 hectare vineyard sits adjacent to the Blanchots Grand Cru in the historic heart of Chablis.

Previously owned by Cistercian agronomist monks, Philippe Testut founded this estate in 1967. Now in the hands of Philippe’s son Cyril, the wines are pure, unadorned expressions of the regions cool climate and limestone soils.
